The Charger Wrap

Let's "wrap-up" a healthy lunch time entree!  The Beavercreek City School's Ankeney Middle School Charger challenge cooks want you to sink your teeth into the "Charger Wrap"! This hunger buster features a whole grain soft flour tortilla with seasoned chicken breast chunks accompanied with fresh romaine lettuce, diced tomatoes, sweet green peppers garnished with a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.  Wrap up lunch time hungers with the "Charger Wrap"!

Chicken Breast, Cooked/Chopped1.5 cups/.75#2 quarts/6.25#
Lemon Pepper1 tsp/-1 cup/-
8" Whole Grain Flour Tortilla6 each/-50 each/-
Romaine Lettuce, Chopped1.5 cups/3 oz3.125 qrts/1.5#
Green Peppers, Diced6 Tbsp/1.5 oz4 cups/12.5 oz
Tomatoes, Diced2 cups/.75#1qt1.25 cups/3.125#
LF Mozzarella Cheese, shredded3 Tbsp/.75 oz1.5 cups/6.25 oz


1.Place chopped chicken in a large bowl and spinkle with lemon pepper.

Gently toss to coat chicken evenly with seasoning. Set aside.

2.Place a whole grain tortilla wrap on a deli paper.

  1. Top each wrap with:

2 oz chicken .25 cup romaine lettuce 1 Tbsp green peppers 3 Tbsp tomatoes Garnish wih .5 Tbsp mozarella cheese

4.Roll the 'Charger Wrap".

  1. Place into a plastic hoagie container, label, date and refrigerate for

    meal service.
