Super Awesome Chili Wraps

Our main dish tastes amazing!  It's healthy and delicious.  It's a whole meal in one hand-held wrap.  Inside the wrap there is chili, tomatoes, lettuce, and cheeze.  The chili is full of protein with ground turkey, kidney beans, and navy beans. It is full of flavor without too much spiciness.

Pinto and Navy Beans1.5 cups25 cups
Ground Turkey4.5 oz.37.5 oz.
Onion1/8 cup1 cup
Garlic1 clove1 head
Green Bell Pepper1/2 cup3 cups
Cilantro1 Tbs.1 cup
Diced Canned Tomatoes1 cup10 cups
Ground Mustard1/8 tsp.1 tsp.
Chili Powder1 tsp.3 Tbs.
Salt and Pepper1 tsp.2 Tbs.
Vinegar1 tsp.3 Tbs.
Whole Wheat Tortillas6 Tortillas50 Tortillas
Shredded Cheddar1 cup8 cups
Shredded Lettuce1 cup8 cups
Diced Fresh Tomatoes1 cup8 cups


Steps of Preparation

Gather ingredients. Brown meat in 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Add all canned tomatoes. Add beans and allow to simmer. Mince onions and garlic. Chop bell peppers. In 2 tablespoons of oil, sauté bell peppers. After a few minutes of cooking, add onions and garlic. Stir often and continue cooking for several minutes. Add pepper and onions to bean and meat mixture and continue to cook. Season with salt, pepper, ground mustard and chili powder. Add fresh cilantro and vinegar. Sample taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.

To Prepare Wraps:

Ladle 1/4 cup of chili onto the center of a tortilla. Sprinkle cheeze, lettuce, and tomatoes on top. Fold in the ends and then roll up the tortilla. Enjoy!
