whole grain noodles | 1 lb | 10 lbs |
roast beef, split top, thinly sliced | 1/2 lb | 5 lbs |
low fat sour cream | 1/8 c | 10 c |
garlic powder | 1/8 tsp | 1T+1tsp |
water cress | 1/4 c | 5 c |
carrots, julienne | 1/4 c | 6 c |
mozzerella cheese | 1/8 c | 1.25 c |
onions, chopped | 1/8 c | 1.25 c |
bell peppers, chopped | 1/8 c | 1.25 c |
margarine | 2 T | 3/4 c |
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 300 degrees. Boil noodles until tender. Drain well. Melt margarine in pan. Then add carrots, onions, and peppers until tender. Add beef and seasonings to veggie mixture and heat beef thoroughly. Add water cress, sour cream, and noodles to beef and veggie mixture. Cover. Place in oven and bring slowly up to temp (20-30 minutes). Stir occasionally. Add cheese when pulled from oven and before placing in warmer. Serve with garlic bread sticks.
