Spaghetti Tacos

These have become quite popular after being mentioned on the TV show i-Carly. A very easy main dish to prepare, they will be a big hit with your students.

Ingredients

| Jumbo Taco Shell | 6 ea | 50 ea |
| Whole Wheat Spaghetti | 1.5 cup/1 lb. | 8.5 lb. |
| Prepared Spaghetti Sauce | 2 cups/18 oz | 2 #10Cans/12.5 lb. |
| Grated Parmesan Cheese(Optional) | 1 t./1/5 oz. | 1.25 cup/10 oz. |
Preparation
In large pot or steam kettle, boil 5 quarts of water per pound of spaghetti. Cook until firm to the bite but not mushy. Drain and rinse and place into ful size 6" steam table insert.
Heat sauce to 165 and pour over cooked spaghetti, mixing well with tongs until sauce is distributed evenly.
Preheat oven to 325 if Convection, 350 if Regular. On lined sheet tray(s) arrange taco shells and place into oven for approximatley 4 minutes until crisped.
To serve, fill each shell with approximatley 3oz. of sauced pasta. If desired sprinkle 1 teaspoon of grated parmesan on top.
